Angela Spanos, RN, Senior Consultant


Angela began her career as a primary care nurse and advanced into leadership roles within primary care, demonstrating a strong commitment to clinical excellence and team development. With over 20 years of experience as a registered nurse, Angela is board-certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as an ambulatory care nurse and nurse executive. As her career progressed, she developed a deep expertise in population health and value-based care, creating and managing strategies that drive improved outcomes for diverse patient populations. Trained in Lean Six Sigma, Angela is dedicated to implementing innovative solutions that enhance patient health and optimize health system performance.

Most recently, Angela held the role of Head of Clinical Quality at Yuvo Health, a pioneering IPA/MSO (Independent Practice Association/Managed Services Organization) startup specializing in aiding Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) in their transition to value-based care through comprehensive contracting, health technology, and population health services. At Yuvo Health, Angela led an agile quality team, successfully managing Medicaid value-based care contracts across FQHC partners. Utilizing data-driven insights, she guided strategic decisions to maximize clinical and population outcomes while optimizing incentive rewards through effective value-based care initiatives.

Prior to this role, Angela spearheaded transformative initiatives at Cambridge Health Alliance, a prominent public community health system. By restructuring primary care practice operations and leading comprehensive population health efforts, Angela led the organization to achieve patient-centered, high-quality, and cost-effective care. She strategically designed and implemented a population health roadmap that addressed critical HEDIS metrics and supported value-based care models, including ACO REACH, Medicaid, and Medicare Advantage programs. Her efforts integrated behavioral health and social care needs into a cohesive, cross-functional system, significantly enhancing the care provided to patients and underscoring her commitment to improving care quality and value for underserved communities.

Outside interests:
Angela lives in Florida, where she enjoys soaking up the sun and being outdoors. A Disney fanatic, she makes frequent visits to the theme parks. Born and raised in New Hampshire, Angela treasures the New England fall weather and makes it a point to return each year to enjoy apple picking, the beautiful fall colors, and hiking in the White Mountains.
